Grandma was here this past week, while Brian was in Orlando at a church planting conference. We had quite a busy week and lots of fun with trips to the zoo, chick fila (twice!), library story hour, Grandma's attic, burger king, shoe shopping for all the boys, Hudson and Henry's last basketball game, and dinner afterwards at Moe's. Once again, Grandma spoiled us while she was here.
I was also able to get the laundry room organized (at least somewhat organized...still waiting on cabinets/shelves someday), the van washed and vacuumed out (it had been WAY too long since I last cleaned it out), a girls' night out with some 2Cities ladies, a date with my older 2 boys (and Oliver) after school one day at Texas Roadhouse and a browse through the pet store, and a morning at the school at Henry's "taste of China" day. They sampled fried rice, egg rolls, and fortune cookies.

After a beautiful morning at the zoo on Saturday and lunch at Sonic, Grandma graciously stayed home with all 5 boys that late afternoon and all evening, while I drove to Birmingham to pick up Brian who flew in from Orlando. We enjoyed a date at the Cheesecake factory and had lots of time to catch up.
Grandma left this morning, as we were leaving for church. We were all so sad to see her go. The week just flew by!! So glad she and Grandpa are coming back in March!!
