Hud man is NINE!!!!

It's hard to be believe it's been nine years since this big guy came into our lives and changed it forever.  He is such a treasure to us!!  I don't even want to think about how half of our time with him has already passed...another 9 years and he'll be graduating from high school and going to college! Ahhhhhh!!!!  I'm going to have to savor these short years.

So turning nine brought him a kindle and a beebee gun.  He was quite excited!  He also requested a Washington Redskins cookie cake, in honor of RGIII.  Sic 'em Bears!! :)

Happy Birthday, Hud man!!!  I am so proud of the young man you are becoming! We love you so much it hurts!

vacay at Baptist East

So another hospital stay that I thoroughly enjoyed and soaked up every minute with our adorable, little doll!  I definitely felt spoiled...all that was required of me was to feed and hold that little angel, while sweet friends and family came to visit and brought me Schlotzsky's, snacks, and Dr. Peppers. :)

And she instantly melted her daddy's heart...

Not to mention her big brothers as well...

you may not be able to tell but love at first sight for big brother jake. :)

the sweet Henninger fam came to meet Molly!

the nursery made Molly a bow one morning. :)

look at that dark hair...just like Jake when he was born. :)

soaking up my hospital stay with this little darling.

Daddy daughter time!  Precious.

peppermint tea and treats with Grandma

This past Friday was the boys' last day of school for a whole week of Thanksgiving break.  After a week of fun Thanksgiving feasts and crafts at school, not to mention a lunch date with their momma at Schlotzsky's after school, the boys came home to an afternoon of no homework, peppermint tea and treats with Grandma, and then spent the remainder of the afternoon and daylight playing football in the backyard.  What a way to start Thanksgiving break!
