This just cracked me up! My mom used to tell the same story about me, so i guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!This afternoon all the boys were coloring / drawing. hudson first wrote his name at the top of his paper...he can write his whole name now! The "N" took awhile for him to master. Anyway, he then begins to scribble (write) on the rest of his page. He looks at me and asks, "What does this say?" I said, "Why don't you tell me, Hudson. What does it say?" Hudson responds in a very matter of fact way, "But I can't read!"

I love all of your posts...I have been reading but haven't had time to comment. This post is hilarious. I think that Lainey and Hudson would be very good friends if they lived close to each other...and I am relieved to know that Lainey isn't the only one who has trouble with the 'N'. She still hasn't mastered it!
Also, I loved, loved, loved your posts on hospitality. I can so relate to that, but I think that if you saw my house on a day to day basis (or even when we have guests) you would feel a lot better.
