every year over memorial day weekend, the montgomery symphony orchestra has a concert downtown at the capitol. we hadn't been in a few years, so we decided to go a few weeks ago. the weather was beautiful, and the music was great! we even ran into several people we knew there, including our old neighbors that lived behind us at our breckenridge house; it was fun getting to visit and catch up with them. one thing i definitely enjoy about montgomery is that small town feel it has...you can be guaranteed that wherever you go, you can always find someone you know!
we found a spot to spread out our blanket and listened for awhile. as soon as we ran out of animal crackers, the boys got a little bored, so the rest of the night was spent climbing trees, rolling down grassy hills, and climbing the steps of the capitol.
