life

my reality these days...an entire basket filled with socks that need to be matched. :)

Just hanging out while I attempt to make dinner. :)

More reality...when does one with a newborn (and 5 other kids) find time to put away Christmas decorations?  My dining room table has looked like this for almost a week now...you can also see my tree is still up. :)

little cutie!

how we're surviving the dinner hour without daddy...

a quick date with Brian (and the younger three) before picking up the older three from school.  Definitely a lot easier with just these three!  And yes, we consider it a "date" if we only have 3 kids with us. :)

My last look at the nativity scene before I pack it up...yes, still working on it. :) loved seeing one of the boys' interpretation of that night in the stable...everyone cramming in to get as close as possible to baby Jesus. :)  It also looks like the wise men were the ones in charge...even mary and joseph were on the outside looking in. :)

Bear family complete. :)

my little cutie...even if his bangs were cut a little too short..

"Best birthday ever!" continues...Lord of the Rings Monopoly arrived in the mail today for Hudson from Aunt LeeAnne!

Celebrating with dessert (and these yummy rolls) at texas roadhouse after a great PTF performance by our kindergartner, 1st grader, and 3rd grader!

"Mommy, take my picture!"

sleeping through all the fun...

devouring the brownie sundae...it was literally gone in less than a minute!

Oliver is one of the big boys now...

working on the farms this morning...
