35 years

Special moments to remember:
1. sneaking in several snuggles with my sweet girl all throughout the day
2. birthday blueberry chocolate chip scones and tea with my sweet friends, Mendy and Carla, this morning.  Mendy had us over, and my youngest two boys enjoyed playing with Platt and Noah.
3.  after picking up the big boys from school, a birthday day lunch at Schlotzsky's with all my boys and Molly.
4. a beautiful birthstone necklace from my parents...6 stones for all six kiddos!
5. a delicious triple chocolate birthday bundt cake made by my sweet husband!
6. and while he put the boys down for bed, I went and picked up some of our favorites...Chick fila drinks and Carrabba's!!  A yummy dinner and a movie at home.
7. Perfect way to celebrate 35 years.  :)

Hud man is NINE!!!!

It's hard to be believe it's been nine years since this big guy came into our lives and changed it forever.  He is such a treasure to us!!  I don't even want to think about how half of our time with him has already passed...another 9 years and he'll be graduating from high school and going to college! Ahhhhhh!!!!  I'm going to have to savor these short years.

So turning nine brought him a kindle and a beebee gun.  He was quite excited!  He also requested a Washington Redskins cookie cake, in honor of RGIII.  Sic 'em Bears!! :)

Happy Birthday, Hud man!!!  I am so proud of the young man you are becoming! We love you so much it hurts!

still celebrating,,,

So because of a super late night last night, Nate was okay with doing the birthday cake thing today after school.  However, they beat me to it.  Daddy gave it to them for breakfast. :)

Nate the Great is SIX!!!!

A fun day for sure for this 6 year old!!  His birthday happened to fall on a Thursday this year, which meant no school for this birthday boy!!  Doughnuts for breakfast; a morning at toys r us with a gift card from Mima and Papa burning a hold in his pocket; an afternoon of play with our sweet friends the Brown's (who's oldest Alleyah and Nate share the same birthday!), and then an evening at Bass Pro Shops, seeing Santa and eating dinner at the restaurant there.  Delicious!!  They even gave us our own private dining room!

Sweet Nate!  So thankful for our 3rd born blessing!!
