on the home stretch!

Grandpa flew back to dallas yesterday afternoon, and this morning we sadly said goodbye to Grandma and Aunt Kathy who are making the long drive back as we speak.  We had so much fun during the very short time they were here.

Henry graduated from kindergarten yesterday, and today they had their class party at Pump it Up.  Fun day!!  Brian graciously took this morning off to stay home with the younger 3, so I could take Henry to his party and stay.

Meanwhile, Hudson was at school, and they had an award day for olympic reading (extra reading the kids do throughout the school year), and he came home with a bronze medal around his neck...3rd place for reading the most book pages for the entire 2nd grade!!  So, so proud of him and really sad we missed it.  (seeing the effect of now being a one car family-brian sold his car last week to help out our finances/what to do with 3 kids, including a sick baby/and a kindergarten party). There was no way to make it all work, and thankfully Hudson was okay with us not being there.  These are times I wish they would let the parents know ahead of time if their child is actually going to get an award, so we could have tried to make it work.

So, all that to say, school is finally winding down.  Henry is done, and Hudson's last day is Friday.  No more homework, and only 3 more days of uniforms. :)  And  Henry and Nate (along with their buddy Noah) have their first t-ball game tonight!

We are so ready for summer!!!!
