Nate woke up to a table full of presents and Krispy Kreme doughnuts this morning, not to mention a couple of thoughtful cards from his brothers.He was quite excited...
He loved the plasma car from Grandma and Grandpa...
After spending some time at home taking turns on the plasma car, we headed to chick fil-a to meet our friends for some playtime, an early lunch, and birthday cupcakes!!
We then picked up Hudson from school, and Brian took the rest of the afternoon off so we could have a "family day" in Birmingham at the McWane Science Center. Nate's request. :)

Afterwards, Nate had his heart set on pizza for dinner, so we had a delicious birthday dinner at California Pizza kitchen...
Nate even received a couple of birthday phone calls from Aunt LeeAnne and Mima while eating his free birthday m&m hot fudge sundae!! :)
Such a fun day!! I'm always secretly happy when the boys choose"family days" for their birthdays over parties. So special and so memorable!! And I'm pretty sure Nate had a great time, too.
