2 weeks old
So at 2 weeks old, on the way to a birthday party at Chick fila, the boys, Grandma, and I took Molly in to be weighed at Dr. Morrison's office. She is now up to her birth weight, weighing in at 6 lbs 5 ounces. (She left the hospital weighing 5 lbs 14 ounces).
I haven't been in a rush to take our little doll out and about...it's just too cozy and warm, and we've been quite content to just be at home. Grandma and Brian have been a huge help with taking and picking up the boys from school. And that week off we had for Thanksgiving was wonderful! and perfect timing! :)
However, when she was 9 days old, we needed a family outing, and the boys had free kids meal coupons for Texas Roadhouse. So her first trip out she nursed and slept peacefully, while we ate delicious rolls and watched waitresses line dance in the aisles. :)
And then at 10 days old, she went to church for the first time.
She has been such an easy baby so far, mainly just eating and sleeping. She loves to be wrapped up in the soft, pink afghan that her great grandma crocheted for her. She's also had a couple nights of 5 hour stretches between feedings! Amazing!!
We all cannot get over her adorableness, and the boys can't get enough turns holding her. I still cannot believe we actually have a GIRL!!!!!
Sweet, little Molly...
