"frontier day" at fort toulouse

Today was "Frontier Day" at Fort Toulouse in Wetumpka.  We went a couple years ago, and the boys had so much fun!  When Brian found out it was this weekend, we knew we had to take them again. October flew by so fast that we never get a chance to go to the fair or even the pumpkin patch.  So "Frontier Day" made up for that. They even had funnel cakes! :)

Lots of interesting things to see...an Indian chant/dance, war reenactments, coon skin hats, guns, animal furs, kettle corn, homemade root beer, pottery,  hiking trails, open spaces for wrestling fun, endless amounts of boy fun!  So we packed a lunch and spent the afternoon there.  Such a fun family day!!
