a beautiful baby shower brunch

My sweet friend Brooke threw me a baby shower brunch this morning.  For awhile, we weren't sure if I was going to be able to make it (or if the shower was going to have to move to the hospital), but thankfully it all worked out.  And my mom was able to be there, too!

All of the thoughtful details my sweet friends put into this shower was just amazing.  And the food was all of my favorites...honeycrisp apples and caramel dip, Ashley's famous vanilla cupcakes, doughnuts, mini quiches, scones, muffins, and a delicious chicken and cream cheese ball with crackers, not to mention punch and hot vanilla chai tea.  Looking back, I wish I had gone back for 2nd and 3rds, but they had me busy opening up all kinds of cute girl clothes and blankets and diapers and burp cloths and even a brand new baby carrier carseat (from sweet Chris Fleming and Leigh Morrison)!!

I am so blessed with such generous and thoughtful friends who showered me with precious gifts for our baby girl....Molly Kathleen MacDonald!

Yes, we officially decided on a name!  Just the other day we finally committed.  We usually wait until the hospital when we see our baby's face to officially decide on a name, but this time with so many friends and family praying for our sweet baby girl, we thought she needed a name now.

So Molly Kathleen it is!
