While they were gone...

we had a pretty busy week.  I thought I was going to have more time to get some projects done, but the only big thing I did was organize/get rid of some of the boys' stuff in their room.  Sweet friends (the Geiger's) also gave us some bunk beds for us to use indefinitely for Nate and Jake, so it was fun getting their room ready for them before they arrived on Friday.  We wanted to surprise them!  It looks like a boys' camp room now, and they love it!

The rest of the week was busy with having friends over for dinner, lunch appointments with folks at the church (which was fun because I only had Oliver, and it made it easier to be in on church ministry this week!), doctor appointment, and running errands (which was very fun because I only had one - Oliver and I even got to go antique window shopping).  By Friday, I had no idea where the week went!!

Do you want to see some of my dream furniture for our house someday that i found at a local antique store??  if money were not an issue, I would gladly purchase these...

this antique blue dresser would be perfect as an end table for Brian (seeing as he has a tiny one with no storage that Oliver is constantly getting into) but could also serve as a changing table/place to put baby girl's clothes while she's in our room).  I'm now on the look out for a cheaper version I can paint myself. :)

would love a corner cabinet like this for storage outside of our bathroom #2, seeing as we have absolutely no storage for this bathroom.  love the green color!

I am absolutely in love with this china hutch that would work perfectly in our kitchen.  would love a place to display my grandmother's china that is now boxed away in the attic.   it also has great storage in those drawers for tablecloths/napkins/etc. or even some of the kids' stuff.

I would love something like this for our front entry hallway...a place for the boys' shoes, backpacks, diaper bags, etc.  love that it has a little bench, too!

Sunday night, Brian, Oliver, and I decided to walk downtown for dinner at SaZa's.  What a fun way to start out the week just the 3 of us.  It felt so weird...and quiet...and easy!!  Oliver, however, loved his week alone.  He talked/babbled so much, and I had so much fun playing with him!

Our week certainly flew by, and so did the big boys' week.  They had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house...more swimming in the backyard - even a trip to Aunt Jody's to slip'n'slide in her backyard, Owen's Farm, ice cream at McDonald's, a trip to Antlers, OK to visit Great-Grandma and fam, plus so much more!  They are already looking forward to next summer for more grandparent camp, and my mom is trying to figure out a way to have them for the whole summer! :)
missing in action: Jake. :(
