six flags and peach park

Brian has been super dad this week!  Hudson and Henry received free tickets to Six Flags through a reading program at school this year.  They were both dying to use their tickets, and they expire in august.  This pregnant momma can't do roller coasters (I have an excuse now! :)  I used to love them but over the last few years can't stomach them anymore).  Anyway, their fun dad who has done six flags for about 8 summers in a row with the youth group was hoping he had retired that trip, but now our boys are getting to that age. :)  And with free tickets they had earned, we couldn't tell them no!

So yesterday he the took the day off (instead of his usual monday), and the three of them headed to Atlanta early that morning.  They spent the day there and were back in time this evening for community group.  Pretty impressive!  It was a perfect day to go with short lines and good weather.  They even stopped at the original chick fil-a, the Dwarf House, on the way home.

And then today he had a lunch appointment with his church planting coach (who lives in Birmingham) in Clanton (a halfway point).  So he took Nate and Jake along, as well.  They got to stop for peach ice cream at Peach Park on the way home! :)

I love that my sweet husband makes time to spend with his boys!
