Longhorn flag football

After an amazing flag football season, the Longhorns lost to the Aggies in the Championship game, the 2nd game of the morning.  After winning their first game against the Tigers, they played hard in the championship but were just plain exhausted in this extremely warm and humid Saturday morning weather. And I love that it was the Longhorns and the Aggies who were top rivals the entire season...the two best teams in the league. :)

Hudson, however, had an amazing season in his first time playing flag football.  As you know, he's no stranger to all his time favorite sport, seeing as he and his friends play it any chance they can get during recess.  And all that extra practice payed off in his 4 on 4 games.  He ended the season with 11 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, getting 3 touchdowns and 1 interception in one game alone!!  Needless to say, his coaches are already (separately) recruiting him for "real" football in the fall.

I think he's found his gift.

And his dad couldn't be more proud.

What a great flag football season.  Way to go, Hudson!!

 Touchdown, Hudson!!!

Go Hudson! Your biggest fan lived in Oregon. That makes you a national phenomenon. Miss you, buddy.
