Resurrection Celebration!

Henry had his "Resurrection Celebration" today at school.  I was one of the drivers and egg hunt helpers, so Brian was sweet enough to have his staff meeting at our house this morning during Oliver's nap time (which I found out he later he never fell asleep! whoops!), and Brooke let Nate and Jake play next door at her house with Noah and Olive.  Worked out great, except for the baby not sleeping thing. :(

After an exciting hunt for resurrection eggs around the playground, the kids came back inside for some teaching time about Jesus and His resurrection as each child opened up their eggs to see what was inside pertaining to the story...a nail, a piece of cloth, nothing!, etc.

And then we all headed to Looney's to roller skate!  Henry had a lot of fun trying to figure out rollerskating...I think it was actually a lot harder for him than ice skating, which he picked up pretty quickly.  He eventually decided to go the scooter route and also spent a lot of time in the bounce houses they had set up.

What a fun morning with my boy!  So glad I got to be a part of it!
