Especially when your sweet, little red headed 6 year old is dressed up like a Japanese boy, saying "konnichiha" into the microphone in front of a bunch of parents, siblings, and grandparents...
Oliver loved people watching (and smiling) during the show...
Afterwards, they had a big reception in the fellowship hall with tables decorated and set up with food, representing each country. The Mexico table had taquitos and chips and salsa; the Asia table had egg rolls, fortune cookies, etc; America had hot dogs, potato chips, and apple pie; Hawaii had pineapple, macadamian nuts, etc; Africa had watermelon and plantain chips. It was a feast!!
After school was out we picked up Hudson (who had to go back to his class before the reception), and we all went to Chappy's for lunch before Brian and I headed to Sandestin for our "weekend to remember"...
