basketball!!

So Hudson and Henry played basketball (for the first time!) together this winter. They were the Gators!! They had their first game back in December and as of a week ago, their season is over. They won 7 out of 8 of their games, so every game was quite exciting!! It was fun watching them play together...Hudson was quite into the game, diligently practicing in the afternoons on our driveway, while Henry was just along for the ride. I think his motivation for playing was to have another way to bond with his older brother. so sweet. :)

They both had a great time, and the rest of us enjoyed going to all of the games. Here's a few pics from their very first game...





Today was their basketball party that their coach (Darrel Kreitz) and his family hosted. The boys and I went (while Brian stayed home sick in bed) and had a great time!!

We all brought sides, and they grilled out hotdogs and hamburgers. The kids played basketball, jumped on the trampoline, and played all sorts of fun party games (balloon toss, water balloon/spoon race, water balloon fight, etc). So fun!!
