That little rascal is all over the place now...climbing up on everything, including the dishwasher and the boys' beds! When Nate's trundle is out, he can easily climb up onto Nate's bed and then climb up on Henry's bed all by himself! Pretty scary!
He's also talking just a little...at least I consider it to be talking. There are several times the boys will be saying something, and then Jake will say something that sounds a lot like the word someone just said. And then we are all convinced that Jake did indeed say the word! He also says, "na na!" for "all done" when he's done eating or done being wrestled or tackled to the floor by his older brothers, etc. He also says "mama" and "dada," and I'm pretty sure he's saying it towards me, like when he's in his bed and ready to get out, reaching his arms out, crying "mama!" Melt my heart!! Jake is also a little singer...he loves to be sung to at night, and when you stop, he encourages you to keep singing by singing himself. In addition, he sings along to the radio or when his brothers are singing in the car. too cute!
He's in the process of cutting two more bottom teeth, with the endless amount of drool, yucky diapers, and a couple of late night wake up calls to prove it. Plus, I can see those cute little teeth poking through!
Oh my, how time goes by too fast! Jake is such a joy and continues to be more intrigued with his brothers everyday. Adoration flows from both sides! Happy 11 month birthday, Jakey!!

Happy 11 months, Jake. We love you bunches. You are getting so big. Love, Mima and Papa
That little black-eye is almost gone! How many of your boys had a black eye before they turned one? That just shows that he is up to the task of being the little brother of 3 big ones. He is absolutely precious!! Loved hearing him sing along with the Christmas carols while looking at Christmas lights! Wish I had taken the video camera with us!
We miss him and the rest, too!
Give him a big hug and kiss from G&G!!
