For the past 3 days, Henry has been playing "Charlotte's Web" and gets very upset if you call him Henry...he only responds to "Wilbur." He also has not been talking but snorting, and we've had to figure out which snort means "yes" and which one means "no." He has assigned everyone parts and wants to play ALL DAY LONG! We don't have any pig costumes, but that's okay because a buzz lightyear outfit seems to work for any character. Hudson got pretty creative as he was cast as Templeton the Rat. He came out wearing his batman mask and had Nate's tennis shoes on his hands (I guess as his little paws???). Henry has been wanting me to be Charlotte and climb on my "net" (web) all day.
We even had "Charolotte" (her real name is Amanda) over for dinner last night, and Henry was so excited...until she came over, and then he and Hudson were quite shy and wouldn't talk. Then today we went to the library and Henry checked out a "Charlotte's Web" book, and we also watched the movie the other day. As you can probably tell, going to the play on Saturday had a huge impact on Henry. I love seeing his little imagination come alive!!
