officially our "last" graduating class for brian as youth pastor!! so bitter sweet! what an amazing class to go out with though! i know brian has enjoyed being with this group of kids since they started 7th grade. (it's funny to think that they were in 5th grade when we first moved to montgomery!!) time really does fly!
the month of may has always been really busy since brian started this job...graduations, graduation parties, teas, etc. so these past few weeks have been extremely busy...another reason why our beach trip was such a surprise to me!! about 75% of the time over these past 8 years, we have celebrated our anniversary by going to a high school graduation! there are normally about 3-4 different graduations that brian (and i) go to...fortunately this year there were only two. it was crazy how many things we needed to go to in a week span that we needed to find a babysitter. unfortunately, all of our babysitters were attending the events we needed to go to. needless to say, we had to get creative, but it all worked out. we ended up bringing the boys to one of the graduations because i really wanted to be there, and everyone we knew was there, so no one available to watch the boys. (where are you, grandparents??? don't you want to move to montgomery???) we stayed in the nursing mother's room the entire time, where they have the sound hooked up, so you can hear the service. my boys were so crazy, i couldn't hear a thing! oh well. at least we were able to see the grads at the reception afterwards.
the following posts are a few of the graduation events we went to...when i actually remembered my camera.
